Man, do I love books

I’ve written two memoirs-in-essays for HarperCollins. Amateur Hour: Motherhood in Essays and Swear Words delves into motherhood and modern parenting culture. It was positively reviewed in The New York Times Book Review, by the Associated Press, and negatively reviewed by people on Goodreads who don’t like swearing. My second book, But You Seemed So Happy: A Marriage, in Pieces and Bits, focuses on marriage, a non-traditional separation, divorce, and the choices we make when we’re young. BYSSH was nominated for The Vermont Book Award in Creative Nonfiction. I was up against Alison Bechdel, lol.

My writing is included in the humor anthology Keep Scrolling Till You Feel Something: Twenty-One Years of Humor from McSweeney's Internet Tendency and the English/French tweet (!) collection Status/Statut (Dynamo Montréal) published in the early days of Twitter* when the character limit was 140. I also contributed a letter to McSweeney’s 49. Fun!
